Team Aztecs, an all-girls team, from the Indian High School (Oud Metha) won the Nike Challenge under the DIDI Project Design Space 4.0. More than 7000 students participated in the challenge and IHS students triumphed over teams of American School of Dubai and Cranleigh Abu Dhabi. IHS's Team Aztec is a five-member girls’ team of grade 12 students that include Thejalakshmi Anil, Sneha Kherajani, Sejal Chikhale, Nivedita Sivakumar and Krishna Barade.
Project Design Space is a National Design Thinking /Innovation competition that offers student teams across UAE the rare opportunity to work on real design projects for actual clients. Clients for this year’s design project challenges are Nike, LEGO Middle East, Emirates Nature - WWF, RAKBANK and Dubai Festival City Mall.
Out of a total of five challenges, IHS teams qualified for two final challenges. Team Aztec won the Nike Challenge whereas Team Three Eccentric Eco Warriors will be competing at the WWF finals tomorrow.
