GRADE - WISE

KG 1 & KG 2

Flag Day Celebrations will be held on November 3rd. Students will show their love and respect for the UAE flag through class activities like dress-up in the national flag colour for the day, assembly talk, and talk about what each colour stands for in the National Flag of UAE. It aims to promote and celebrate the UAE values and reinforce the message of unity, peace & happiness.

Stage Champs will be organised from November 8th to 11th. The purpose is to give opportunity to all our students to showcase their talent in the various competitions planned for the week such as Fancy dress, Best Out of Waste, Recitation, Just a Minute Talk, Singing, Handwriting and Show & Tell. Sync sessions for the competition will be planned for them.

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration will be held on November 12th. The objective is to enrich students’ understanding on the celebrations with their friends and families around. They will celebrate childhood and emphasize the importance of giving love, attention & affection to all. They will dress-up in their traditional outfit for their virtual classes. Teachers will display lovely performances for them through stories, skit, songs and more. Students will also present ‘just a minute talk’ expressing their love and affection for Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru in their own way.

D.E.A.R. (Drop Everything And Read) activity will be conducted during this month (every week). Through this activity, teacher will read stories to the students with discussion on the plot, characters, beginning and the end. It will help to encourage them to read their favourite story and create their own story map. It will give them more opportunities to read books they want and enjoy the pleasure of reading. It also aims to encourage families at home to designate a special time to drop everything and read at home.

Grade 1 & 2

Flag Day Celebration will be held on November 3rd. Students will identify the elements in nature that resembles the colour they choose, speak about it and their significance. They will also dress-up with different colours of the UAE flag, record their audio or video clip and submit to their Social Studies teachers.

Talent Hunt will be conducted from November 8th to 11th. This activity will be an opportunity for students to showcase different talents in form of dance, song, acting, drawing, playing musical instrument, magic, and more. Each class will get a sync period to perform their class’s talent.

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration will be held on November 12th. Through assembly with the theme titled ‘Festival of Light’, students will recognize that countries and religions have celebrations. Virtual celebration of Children’s Day will also be included.

Grades 3 to 5

Art & Cultural Fest will be conducted from November 8th till 11th. During this fest, students will be engaged in Art competition followed by cultural activities.

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration will be held on November 12th. Through this celebration, teachers will show their love and gratitude towards students. It aims in appreciating their affection towards them.

Grades 6 to 8

Flag Day Celebrations will be held on November 3rd. This day will be celebrated through flag hoisting and thematic assembly. It will be an opportunity for students to appreciate and understand the significance of Flag Day.

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebration will be held on November 12th. Students will celebrate the festival of lights through a thematic assembly. They will also share snippets of their celebrations with family and friends via online.

Grade 9 & 10

Flag Day Celebrations will be held on November 3rd. This day will be celebrated through flag hoisting and thematic assembly (virtual and on-site flag hoisting). It aims to reaffirm student’s allegiance to the UAE flag, which is a symbol of the country’s unity & greatness and represents their aspirations.

Art & Cultural Festival will be conducted on November 8th to 11th. The purpose is to identify the hidden talents of our students and to improve communicational & team working skills. They will participate in a variety of arts & cultural events ranging from music, dance, drama and drawing (online).

Diwali and Children’s Day Celebrations will be held on November 12th. Students will celebrate the festival of lights through a thematic assembly. They will also share snippets of their celebrations with family and friends (online).

COUNSELLING CENTRE

A Talk for Parents of grades 9 & 10 on the topic ‘Choices for your Ward After Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’ will be conducted on November 4th.

A Talk for Parents of grades 5 to 8 on the topic ‘Love Language’ will be conducted on November 5th. The purpose is enlightening parents on 5 Love Language which will help them to understand their ward.

A Talk for Students of grade 10 on the topic ‘Option for You After Secondary and Higher Secondary Education’ will be conducted on November 11th.
