milestone was added to the road of success and
progress of the Indian High School with the addition
of the Al Garhoud Campus in August 1988. It was
inaugurated by His excellency Mohammed Abdulla
Fares. Under Secretary, Ministry of Education,
U.A.E on 17th December 1998.

A
new wing housing 17 classrooms and 4 administrative
rooms were added in April 1994.

The
Al garhoud Campus has classes from KG-1 to Grade
4 with the Kindergarden section and the girls
attending in the morning and the boys of Grades
1 to 4 in the afternoon.

Today
the total strength of the campus is 3600 students,
180 teaching staff and 60 non-teaching staff.

Junior
campus is situated in Al Garhoud area at the distance
of 1 Km from Dubai International Airport. Behind
our school is welcare hospital; on the right side
is Airport Hotel - Al Bustan Rotana Hotel and
Lemeridian.. On the Left hand side, at a distance
of 0.5 Km is City Centre and Emirates Golf Club,
which is divided by the main road leading from
Al Garhoud Bridge to Sharjah.

Curriculum: |
| Pre-Primary
(KG - 1 & KG.2) |
|
The
curriculum of the Pre-primary focuses on developing
skills in the areas of Meter control, English
Language and communication, Social and Emotional
Development. The subjects of English, mathematics
and General Knowledge are introduced. They are
supported by regular activities in the workshop,
art and craft, sports and music.

(Grade 1- 4) |
|
At
the primary level curriculum strengthens the developmental
shills, which are fortified through the three-language
pattern of English, Hindi and Arabic, and general
Science, Social studies and Mathematics. Moral
values are instilled through Moral Science / Islamic
Studies.

The
overall development, interests and talents are
fostered through an interdisciplinary approach
and activities of Art Education, Work Experience,
Physical and Health Education and a Reading.
